ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
Using simple geometric forms, illustrated two abstracted scenes from Selby Gardens. They were brought together in a three-frame board for a 10 second animation, connecting both spaces without camera moves
Abstractifying nature elements into geometric shapes (especially the curves) were a real dilemma.
Balancing 3D depth with flat graphics and type added another layer of complexity.
Balancing 3D depth with flat graphics and type added another layer of complexity.
Adding textures and a scrapbook feel brought the design to life. I lost track of that at one point, but revisiting my original references helped me find my way back.
Inspired by Oddfellows’ collage philosophy, I layered natural textures with bold geometry to create playful and unexpected compositions.
